The city has decided on a design for the proposed skate park at Liberty Park after consulting with teenage skaters.
The architecture firm Purkiss-Rose RSI presented three plans, and the 30 people who attended decided on one design, which will be presented for approval by the City Council in December, said Jennifer Gaetano, spokeswoman for the city.
The project is estimated to cost the city $175,000 and be completed by next summer. Information: (714) 895-2860, Ext. 562.
