Daniel Green threw for four touchdowns, three of them to Maurice Garcia, to lead host Rancho Alamitos to a 69-12 rout of La Quinta Thursday night at Bolsa Grande High School.
Garcia, the second-leading receiver in Orange County, caught scoring passes of 32, 40 and 64 yards and finished with 143 yards on four catches.
Green also found Matt Hildreth for a one-yard scoring pass.

La Quinta (0-10, 0-6) held its first lead of the season for 58 seconds in the first quarter. After the Vaqueros’ Mario Gomez scored on a one-yard plunge for a 7-0 lead, the Aztecs got a 25-yard touchdown run by tailback Toan Ly.
A two-point conversion attempt failed, but the Aztecs recovered a fumble at the Vaquero 23. On the first play after the turnover, Ly caught a 23-yard scoring pass from Renee Sanchez to give the Aztecs the lead, 12-7 (the kick failed).
But on the second play after the kickoff, Pounds raced around end for a 56-yard score to put the Vaqueros up for good.
The Vaqueros also scored on a 92-yard return by Hildreth of a blocked field goal, an 81-yard run by Zeke Rodriguez and a 10-yard run by Graham Barras.
