Re “Yorba Linda Resident Launches Effort to Recall Mayor Over Firing of City Manager,”Nov. 3:

Hurrah to those individuals who made the first move to file recall papers on Mayor John Gullixson.

Many Yorba Lindans are aware of his discriminatory decisions and his irresponsible actions as a public official.

The recall demonstrates that citizens have finally had enough of Gullixson and are ready to call an end to his reprehensible actions that have no place in Yorba Linda.

The reins of government in the land of gracious living should be restored to a place of honor and trust.

Gullixson’s plans to run for an Orange County Superior Court seat are not a surprise.

We have known for years that he considers his council seat to be a steppingstone for higher office.

Knowing that Gullixson makes decisions before evidence is heard, does not allow citizens’ rights and is arrogant to residents, wouldn’t you just love to have him as a judge presiding over your case?
