Honored Professor to Lecture on Diversity

The city’s “Food for Thought” speakers luncheon series concludes at noon Wesdnesay at the Garden Grove Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave., with noted educator Leonard Olguin, discussing diversity.
Olguin, a former elementary school teacher, is professor emeritus for the Department of Teacher Education at Cal State Long Beach.
He has been named Teacher of the Year by the California School Board Public Education Hall of Fame and Outstanding Hispanic Educator by the Irvine City Council and has been recognized for his work by the United League of Latin American Citizens.
Tickets are $20 and include lunch.
