Top-seeded Diamond Bar would appear to be the overwhelming favorite here. The Brahmas are the Division II defending champions and come in undefeated. But Diamond Bar Coach Terry Roche isn’t buying all the hype. Roche has been hunkered down in his office all week studying films of San Clemente’s fly offense. “They’ve got some very talented athletes,” Roche said. “I just hope we can play with them.” The Brahmas lost last year’s Division II player of the year, quarterback Donny Sizemore, to a torn knee ligament in the fifth week, but they haven’t missed a beat. “We’ve been real lucky,” Roche said.
