San Marcos 29, Oxnard 20--The Royals took a 20-0 second-quarter lead and held off a late Oxnard rally at San Marcos.
Carlos Santano scored on runs of 14 and 11 yards, the second touchdown putting San Marcos (2-2) ahead, 26-7, in the third quarter.
Tony Williams scored on a four-yard run in the third quarter to cut the lead to 26-14. He threw a 32-yard touchdown pass to Michael Munoz in the fourth quarter to pull Oxnard (1-3) to within 26-20.
