Tonight, the City Council will consider establishing a restricted parking district in neighborhoods north of Dana Hills High School.
The proposal arose from residents’ complaints about students filling all of the available parking space in the neighborhoods during school hours. The measure would allow residents within the district up to five resident and five guest permits, which will be required to park in those neighborhoods from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays except for holidays. The council meets at 6:30 p.m. at Dana Point City Hall, 33282 Golden Lantern. Information: (949) 248-9890.
