The City Council recently approved $12,000 for Camino Health Center to provide medical care for the needy in South County.
The San Juan Capistrano clinic takes patients in an area stretching from Lake Forest to San Clemente. The money will be used to provide primary health care services to low-income patients without medical insurance.
Last year, the clinic served about 5,195 patients in San Juan Capistrano. Patients are charged $30 to $45 per visit based on their income. Information: (949) 248-2158.
