F&F; Partners Buys Golden West Apartments

The Golden West Apartments, a 136-unit complex in Westminster, has been sold by JH Properties of Los Alamitos for $9.6 million, according to a brokerage firm.
The complex, which includes 34 structures that contain four units each, was sold to F&F; Partners of Larkspur after only two weeks on the market. The units, in the 14000 block of Goldenwest Street near Westminster Mall, have two bedrooms and rent on average for $750 per month. The complex is 97% occupied.
The property, built in 1962, probably will be renovated by the new owners, said Kevin Assef, regional manager at Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage Co., which handled the sale.
