Littlerock 28, Capistrano Valley 26--Daniel Chapman’s two-point conversion attempt was stopped inches short of the goal line by Littlerock with 59 seconds remaining at Capistrano Valley.

Quarterback Jeff Dixon scored on a four-yard sneak to cap a six-play, 76-yard drive that was aided by a face-masking penalty against the Lobos (4-1).

Richard Newton rushed for two touchdowns and threw for another for Littlerock. Newton completed six of eight passes for 94 yards.

Rodney Woods rushed for 147 yards in 24 carries, including a two-yard touchdown for the Lobos. Woods also had one interception.
