A jewelry store at The Oaks mall was burglarized early Friday, sheriff’s deputies said.
Ben Bridge Jewelers at 450 W. Hillcrest Drive was entered through a smashed window, deputies said.
Deputies responded after receiving an alarm call about 5:45 a.m. It was unclear how the burglar or burglars had entered the mall, but deputies believe an open door was used or they hid inside overnight.
Authorities refused to say what was stolen or whether the store had a surveillance camera that was operating.
As of Friday night, there had been no arrests.
