AML Communications in Camarillo said sales for the second quarter ending Sept. 30 climbed 44% to $2.3 million from $1.6 million for the same period a year earlier.
The company also reported a sharply reduced net loss of $90,000 or 1 cent per share, compared with a loss of $550,000 or 9 cents per diluted share a year ago.
“While we are encouraged by our progress in improving the operating results, the competitive environment which the company operates in remains challenging,” said Kirk A. Waldron, president and chief executive.
AML designs and manufactures amplifiers and related products for the global wireless industry.
