Josh Herrera
La Habra, Football
The fleet-footed Herrera ran for 300 yards in 44 carries and scored all four touchdowns to lift La Habra to a 28-14 victory
over Sonora in Freeway League play.
Herrera scored on runs of 24, one, three, and 38 yards. The last two touchdowns provided the Highlanders with their margin of victory. Last year he had 387 yards and four touchdowns against Troy.

Won the varsity sweepstakes race at the Orange County Championships in 15 minutes 6 seconds.

Ran for 224 yards and three touchdowns as Estancia ended a three-game losing streak to Costa Mesa.
Lindsay Pavlik
Mater Dei, Volleyball
The senior middle blocker concluded a big week by helping her team upset then top-
ranked
Newport Harbor in four
games. In that
match,
Pavlik had 15 kills, but more importantly, a team-leading 18 digs to lead the defense, Coach Craig Pazanti said. Pavlik also had a team-leading 16 kills in a four-game Serra League victory over Rosary for unbeaten Mater Dei.
