Forbes Unveils Plan to Boost Economy

Republican presidential candidate Steve Forbes outlined his economic agenda in Manchester, N.H., and said the plan--a compilation of previously announced ideas--would grow the economy by 75%, create more than 24 million jobs, boost wages by two-thirds and cut the national debt by more than half. Unveiling his economic package at the home of a state employee and teacher, Forbes said he is a “true outsider” with bold proposals, in contrast to Texas Gov. George W. Bush, the front-runner for the GOP nomination.
