Crazy About Biscuits: To me, the weekend starts on Saturday morning, when I go to breakfast at Quality Cafe on 3rd Street or Du-par’s on Ventura Boulevard. There’s something about Du-par’s; it hasn’t changed in 25 years, and there’s something pleasant about that. Both places have great biscuits, and to me, everything at breakfast is a vehicle for biscuits. Eggs are just there to help the biscuits. I think because I had to tour the South so much, biscuits became a staple in my diet.

Yearning for Yoga: If I’m good, I’ll wait two hours after breakfast and then do yoga. This is my dream world. I haven’t actually had a chance to do yoga in ages. I love it because it makes you taller and calmer. I really miss it. Without it, I’m shorter and more stressed.

Furnish Your Own Punch Line: My favorite store is Architexture on Ventura Boulevard. My house looks like the show floor at Architexture. I’ve bought most of my furniture there. I love it, except I was lazy and didn’t measure my bed properly. Now you have to take a running start from my kitchen to get into bed because it’s too high.

Relieving Stress: I love walking Runyon Canyon. I feel like Spiderman because it’s so incredibly steep. You can actually see smoke coming off your thighs because it’s such a good walk. My favorite exercise is spinning. I have a trainer who comes over to my house at 7 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. I do it for an hour, then I want to kill her. It’s torture, but fun. And totally addictive.

Dining Out: I enjoy having outdoor dinner parties in my backyard, but when I go out, I like Tahiti on 3rd Street. It’s so yummy. And I love Intermezzo on Melrose. They have the best desserts.

Longtime Hobby: I love to go antiquing. My mother used to be an antique dealer, so since I was 7, I’ve picked up china and turned it upside down to see what factory it came from. I’m well trained in that. I used to call them thousand-dollar Saturdays because I was so lonely when I first moved here that I’d just go shopping for antiques.
