Councilman Russell Patterson requested at Tuesday’s meeting that the Sheriff’s Department increase enforcement at Villa Park Elementary School to maintain safety for students.
Patterson said he was concerned because too many parents were parking illegally in front of the school when dropping off and picking up their children.
