2 Pilots Killed in ‘Blue Angel’ Crash

A jet from the Navy’s “Blue Angels” stunt flying team crashed in rural southern Georgia, killing both pilots on board, Navy spokesmen said. The accident was the precision flying team’s first fatality in more than 14 years and its first crash of any kind in nine years. Killed were Lt. Cmdr. Kieron O’Connor, 35, of Burtonsville, Md., and Lt. Kevin Colling, 32, of Castle Rock, Colo.
