It is a big week for a pair of small schools.
Faith Baptist High, the No. 1-ranked team in the Southern Section’s Eight-man Large Schools Division, is celebrating homecoming.
The Contenders and Grace Brethren hope to have something else to celebrate, too.
Faith Baptist (7-0, 4-0) and Grace Brethren (7-0, 4-0), the No. 2-ranked team in the Eight-man Large Division, will play for the Heritage League title and top seeding in the playoffs at 2 p.m. Saturday at Faith Baptist.
Faith Baptist defeated Grace Brethren, 56-18, in Grace Brethren’s homecoming game last season.
Both teams have two games left before the playoffs begin Nov. 13.
