Trabuco Hills found out last week that Dana Hills is quite a bit better than its record indicates. The Dolphins have a solid defense--as evidenced by holding Santa Margarita, Trabuco Hills and Fountain Valley to a combined 21 points--and their option offense is tough to defend when it isn’t turning the ball over. But that offense could be slowed considerably if Mike Bergey doesn’t recover from a hip pointer injury he sustained last week. San Clemente was ranked among the county’s top 10 teams early in the season, but a loss tonight could deal the Tritons’ playoff hopes a severe blow.
