Thousand Oaks 14, Royal 10--John Keirans sacked Royal quarterback Tim Shubert on fourth down at the Royal 35-yard-line with 1:39 to play to preserve a come-from-behind victory for the Lancers (5-3, 3-1) at Royal.
Royal (2-6, 1-4) moved ahead, 10-7, with 5:19 remaining in the third quarter on a 39-yard field goal by Evan Kay.
Thousand Oaks countered with an 80-yard, 11-play drive that culminated with a 28-yard touchdown pass from Ben Olson to Putter Ashford for the winning score.
