Cherokee Inc., Van Nuys, announced net income of $2.2 million for the second quarter ended July 31, compared with net income of $1.3 million for the same period last year. Revenues increased to $6.4 million from $4.9 million.
The board of directors authorized the repurchase of up to 1 million shares, approximately 11.5% of its outstanding stock, in July.
