ORANGE COUNTY FILE : ‘Outrageous Joy’ Comes to the Arrowhead Pond

More than 19,000 women are expected to gather at the Arrowhead Pond this weekend for the evangelical Christian conference, Women of Faith. The movement, which is becoming known as the feminine version of the popular all-male Promise Keepers, is rapidly growing, and the conference is traveling to 25 cities this year.

Organizers say this year’s conference, called “Outrageous Joy,” has had the most enthusiastic response to date with over 200,000 women registering in two months.
