Bakersfield 28, Antelope Valley 9--Running back Jonathan Molock rushed for 143 yards in 12 carries and quarterback Demetre Booker rushed for 106 yards in 15 carries for Antelope Valley, which succumbed to the big play at Bakersfield.
Bakersfield took a 14-3 lead with 15 seconds left in the first half, when running back Allen Mackey scored on a 38-yard touchdown reception and then completed a pass for a two-point conversion.
Bakersfield pulled away in the second half, building a 28-3 lead on a 43-yard touchdown run by Lee Key and a 50-yard scoring option pass from Mackey to receiver Brian Cooper.
Molock capped the scoring with a 34-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
