The Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, D.C., is pricing it at $30 per hour, $15 per half-hour, the cost to use its new “Quiet Room.” Located in the Georgetown hotel’s health and fitness club, the soundproofed room, about 10 feet by 15 feet, is equipped with a leather recliner with built-in massage controls, a lava lamp to groove on and a mini-fridge. You can either enjoy the silence or crank up the sound on a TV, VCR and CD player. The room is open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Reservations: (202) 944-2022.
