Sears, Roebuck & Co. said it reached an agreement to sell American Standard Cos.’ central heating and air-conditioning units, under the national brand name Trane, alongside the retailer’s Kenmore brands as it tries to revive sales. Sears, based in Hoffman Estates, Ill., also will install and service the Trane units through its 800 Sears HomeCentral home improvement stores, starting in January.
