Last week: Se Ri Pak won the Samsung World Championship of Women’s Golf in Maples Grove, Minn., by one stroke over Karrie Webb. Pak finished with an eight-under 280.

Notes: Juli Inkster has won the tournament twice. She needs only one more LPGA Tour victory to enter the Hall of Fame. . . . Karrie Webb won the event in 1996 and 1997. . . . Sheehan is a three-time champion, winning in 1982, 1990 and 1995. She set the tournament record of 18-under 270 in 1990. . . . Webb is the fastest player in Tour history to surpass the $4-million mark in earnings (three years, seven months 29 days).
