* A Los Angeles federal court judge has thrown out a patent infringement suit by Litton Industries against Honeywell Inc. over a mirror coating process for laser gyros used in commercial and military aircraft. U.S. District Judge Mariana R. Pfaelzer also upheld $660 million of a $750-million judgment won by Woodland Hills-based Litton against Minneapolis-based Honeywell in an antitrust suit over the gyro system. Both sides in the decade-long legal battle indicated they would appeal.
