Campaign Against Domestic Abuse Planned

REDONDO BEACH — The Beach Cities Health District has earmarked nearly $100,000 to combat domestic violence in three upscale South Bay cities, district officials said Friday.
Targeting residents in Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach, the health district plans to spend $99,420 on anti-violence programs during the current fiscal year.
The district is offering a series of six free workshops throughout October, designated as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
