Paramount 24, Lancaster 14--Victor Alexandrea caught a 32-yard touchdown pass from Tony Knox early in the fourth quarter to put the Pirates (2-1) ahead for good at Paramount.
Lancaster (1-2) had tied the score, 14-14, late in the third quarter when Matt Doepking returned a kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown. Seconds earlier, Paramount’s Cedrik Bowen had returned a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown to put the Pirates ahead, 14-7.
Tony Ortiz rushed for 117 yards in 13 carries to lead Lancaster, which was held to zero yards passing and 119 yards rushing.
