Workshop on Hazards at Home

A workshop on indoor air quality, lead paint contamination and other home health hazards will be presented Wednesday by the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services.
Dennis Livingston, author of “Maintaining a Lead Safe Home: A Do-It-Yourself Manual for Homeowners, Property Managers and Contractors,” will teach participants how to inspect their homes and find the causes of poor indoor air quality.
The workshop will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Burton Chase Park auditorium, 13650 Mindanao Way, Marina del Rey. Admission is $30. For more information, call (800) 524-5323.
