“I have pillows everywhere. In my bedroom I counted 26 this morning. It’s taken me 46 years to convince my husband that they weren’t going away. Most of my pillows are down, which means I need a lot of them because they squish down so much. The trick is arranging them. I like to read lying down. You need a dozen pillows to create a body-shaped form you can sink into. When I go to the dentist, I bring four pillows. I’m just addicted.”
