No. 17 Fullerton Beats Santa Barbara in Softball

Cal Sate Fullerton, ranked 17th in the nation, used a 12-hit attack to defeat UC Santa Barbara, 6-3, in a Big West Conference softball game Sunday in Santa Barbara.
Yasmin Mossadeghi drove in two runs and Dara Marzolo had three hits for the Titans (34-11, 9-3).
In nonconference men’s tennis:
Southern Methodist 7, UC Irvine 0--Irvine’s Brett Lucas lost at No. 1 singles, 6-7, 7-6, 6-1. Host SMU (20-5) is ranked 11th in the nation.
