The Planning Commission has approved the addition of a two-story elevator on the Farmers and Merchants Bank building, facing Rockfield Boulevard near Lake Forest Drive.
After the commission expressed concern about the exterior aluminum building material, the bank agreed to change it to stucco. Trees also will be added as a buffer to the street. The bank also will be required to remove the existing roof-mounted light fixtures during the construction.
