Allergan Inc., an Irvine maker of eye- and skin-care products, agreed to develop an eye-drop version of an antibiotic made by a Japanese drug maker for sale outside Japan, China, South Korea and Taiwan. Financial terms with Kyorin Pharmaceutical Co. weren’t disclosed. The eye drops, to treat infections, will be based on Kyorin’s oral and injectable antibiotic marketed in the U.S. by Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. under the brand name Tequin.
