* Irish Music--The band Luck Money will perform its brand of traditional Irish folk music Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at the Raven Playhouse in North Hollywood. The four-man group boasts of more than 100 years of collective musical experience performing jigs, reels, hornpipes and other tunes. The instrumentation consists of fiddle, mandolin, guitar, tenor banjo, bodhran and whistles. The band’s name comes from the old custom of Irish merchants giving back a coin or two to paying customers in the hope of continuing prosperity and good luck. * Jazz--Bassist Larry Muradian and drummer Jeff Donavan lead their ensemble, the Nairobi Trio Plus 2, in a special performance Sunday at 5 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Glendale. Muradian and Donavan have been performing together for more than 20 years and are known for their energy and hard-hitting style. Performing with them will be trumpeter Kye Palmer, saxophonist Robert Kyle and pianist Curtis Brengle. The church is at 1300 E. Colorado St. Free. (323) 245-4000.
