Pittsburgh Coach Herb Brooks was suspended by the NHL for an additional game for shoving and verbally attacking Colorado Avalanche announcer John Kelly after a game in which Kelly suggested a Penguin player embellishes injuries. Brooks was suspended from a game last Saturday and must also sit out tonight against St. Louis. . . . Philadelphia Flyer captain Eric Lindros, recovering from a concussion, will not play Thursday against Ottawa.
