* Ann Gabriella Reiner, a native of Stockholm who played on the Swedish national team, has signed with the Cal State Northridge women’s team.
BASEBALL
* The Jim Parker all-star game, sponsored by the Ventura County Baseball Coaches Assn., is set for 1 p.m. Sunday at Ventura College.
Players from Agoura, Calabasas, Fillmore, Malibu, Moorpark, Newbury Park, Oak Park, Royal, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and Westlake will comprise the East team, which will be coached by Tony Walczuk of Malibu.
Players from Buena, Camarillo, Channel Islands, Hueneme, Nordhoff, Oxnard, Rio Mesa, St. Bonaventure, Santa Clara, Santa Paula and Ventura will comprise the West team, which will be coached by Dan Smith of Ventura, Rey Welker of Hueneme and Anthony Espitia of Buena.
Home run and base-running contests will begin at 12:20.
* Matthew Adams, a catcher for Oxnard High, has signed with Cal State Los Angeles.
SOFTBALL
* Pitcher Nicole Angelo of Thousand Oaks was chosen most valuable player in the Marmonte League.
Shortstop Oli Keohohou of Newbury Park was chosen offensive player of the year and third baseman Brittney Green of Simi Valley was defensive player of the year.
VOLLEYBALL
* The Cal State Northridge women’s team has signed five players to letters of intent.
They are: Kelly Brockman, a 6-foot middle blocker from Huntington Beach High; April Nicholson, a 5-10 outside hitter from St. Lucy’s in Glendora; Stephany Huizing, a 6-1 outside hitter from Marcos De Niza High in Arizona; Jennifer Kirby, a 5-10 outside hitter from Utah Valley State College; and Unn Kvensdeth, a 5-11 middle blocker from Svelgen, Norway.
