Irvine’s Masimo Gets $10 Million Boost

Masimo Corp., an Irvine medical technology company, said it has received a $10 million infusion from Franklin Templeton Investments.
The funds will be used primarily to step up production to meet higher than expected demand for the company’s Radical Signal Extraction pulse oximeter, which measures blood-oxygen levels and pulse rates through the skin.
