Mayor Bev Perry helped a local company announce its name change Friday at a ribbon-cutting and barbecue.

United Ad Label officially changed its name to Veriad as part of its new Internet-based focus. Perry and about 200 employees attended an outdoor barbecue luncheon provided by Veriad President and CEO Cal Laird.
