Brea Community Hospital announced the winners of its scholarship awards to 11 North County students interested in a medical career. Brea Olinda High School seniors Kimi Cato, German Munoz and Alisha Scott received about $1,000 each to go toward their college education.
The Brea Community Hospital Auxiliary raised $11,500 for scholarships through sales in the hospital’s gift shop. The Brea Olinda Wildcats shared the spotlight with eight other students from high schools and colleges in surrounding cities.
