Sun Microsystems Inc., one of the largest makers of computers that run Web sites, said it agreed to buy closely held Innosoft International Inc. of West Covina to get Internet messaging products. Terms weren’t disclosed. Innosoft’s employees and products, including messaging and directory services, will join Sun’s iPlanet e-commerce unit, an alliance with America Online Inc.’s Netscape unit. Sun shares fell $2.69 to close at $94.31 on Nasdaq.
