If you’re among the reported one in 10 Internet-savvy people who make their airline reservations online, you know how important it is to have the official airport code when booking flights. These cryptic three-letter aliases also appear on tags attached to your luggage. Some codes make sense, such as JFK for John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. Others aren’t so obvious because they’re based on something or someone in the airfield’s history. Test your airport IQ by matching the following to their correct codes.
