* The Southern California Film Festival concludes today at A Captain Blood’s Village Theatre in Orange with: 8 p.m. An evening of short films, including “Curio Trunk,” “Diablo II,” “Yellow Badge of Courage” (left), “Salad Bowl” and “Crescent Island.” Afterward, the top films from the festival’s “open mike” competition will be shown.
