The Fullerton Senior Center will offer free flu shots to senior citizens from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at 340 W. Commonwealth Ave.
The annual flu clinic is being held later than usual this year due to a delay in the production of flu vaccine. Vaccines will be given to seniors to help protect against this winter’s flu strains. Anyone who is allergic to eggs or who is running a fever the day of the clinic should not receive an immunization.
The clinic is sponsored by the city’s Community Services Department, the American Red Cross, Preventive Health Care for the Aging and the Orange County Health Care Agency. No appointments are needed. Information: (714) 738-6305.
