Ian Elliott
Foothill, Water Polo
Elliott, a junior, had 12 saves in the sixth-ranked Knights’ 9-7 upset of second-ranked Villa Park. The victory
gave Foothill the Century
League
championship, ending the Spartans’ two-year reign and moving the Knights up from their No. 7 ranking in the Southern Section Division I poll. Elliott, a member of the junior national team, and a strong Foothill defense held Villa Park to only one goal in the second half.

The freshman won the Century League title at Yorba Park in Anaheim Hills, finishing the three-mile course in 15:10.

Caught 10 passes for 174 yards, scored four touchdowns and kicked five extra points and a field goal for the Lancers.
Leisl Hasbrouck
Aliso Niguel, Golf
Hasbrouck shot a two-over-par 74 Tuesday at Redhawk in Temecula and won the Sea View League individual championship by seven strokes
over defending champion Stella Lee of Irvine. Has-
brouck, a freshman, had three birdies and shot two-under 34 on the final nine holes to claim the title, coming back from a first-round 83 that left her trailing Lee by a shot. She finished with a two-round total of 157.

Scored the winning goal in sudden-death overtime to give Marina its first Tournament of Champions title.
* Joanna Kao
Sunny Hills, Tennis
Won her third consecutive Freeway League singles title, defeating Troy’s Aya Sekoda, 6-2, 6-2.
