In other Valley Mission League games:
Sylmar 42, Monroe 13--John Valdez passed for 183 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another as the host Spartans (10-0, 5-0) completed their first perfect regular season since 1995.
Valdez, who completed 14 of 18 passes, hit Donnell Livingston with a 13-yard scoring strike in the first quarter and a one-yard touchdown pass to Felipe Samano in the second quarter.
Valdez also scored on a 10-yard run to give Sylmar a 27-7 lead in the third quarter.
Isidro Medina rushed for 73 yards and scored of runs of one and 13 yards.
Monroe (1-9, 1-4) led, 7-0, when Steve Beltran capped the opening drive with a two-yard run.
Beltran also scored on a one-yard run with 20 seconds remaining.
Livingston left in the second quarter with a shoulder injury and did not return.
Van Nuys 40, Reseda 21--The Wolves overcame a 14-8 halftime deficit at Van Nuys to win their second game in a row.
Van Nuys (2-8, 2-3) had not scored more than 14 points in any game this season but exploded for 32 in the second half. The Wolves defeated Monroe, 7-0, last week after opening with eight losses.
Eddie Robinson scored all three touchdowns for Reseda (2-8, 1-4).
