Le Meridien hotels will launch a $10-million renovation of the public spaces and guest rooms at its Los Angeles property.
The renovation of the 297-room property on La Cienega Boulevard at Burton Way will update the hotel’s decor and add computer hookups in each guest room. The design team includes Gensler Architecture and interior designer Pierre Yves Rochon.
Le Meridien purchased the property--formerly the Hotel Nikko at Beverly Hills--in July 1999 from Beverly Park Associates for an estimated $80 million. The hotel, adjacent to Beverly Hills, was renamed Le Meridien at Beverly Hills.
