Golden West Wins in Water Polo

The undefeated Golden West women’s water polo team won its fourth tournament of the season Saturday, beating Merced, 11-3, in the final of the Merced tournament.
The Rustlers (20-0) defeated Riverside, 9-3, in a semifinal.
Anna Korobova scored five goals in the championship game and had four in the semifinal.
In the Ventura women’s water polo tournament:
Orange Coast wins--Devon Wright scored four goals as the Pirates defeated Fullerton, 13-3, in the championship game. Orange Coast defeated host Ventura, 8-3, in a semifinal.
Neisha Hoagland scored seven goals in the two games for the Pirates (13-2-1).
In the Citrus men’s water polo tournament:
Golden West 11, Mt. San Antonio 4--Logan Shaw and Trevor Wawrzynski each scored three goals as Golden West (19-1) won the championship.
