Trustees of the Westminster School Board voted to appoint board member Helena Rutkowski to the Nominating Committee for the county’s Committee for School District Organization.
An application to participate in the English Learner Acquisition Program will be submitted to the state. The district may receive $162,000 to pay for instructional materials and support for students who are learning the English language.
Board members also voted last week to approve a credential waiver for a preschool teacher. The instructor was nominated to teach a special education class while she completes a credential program at National University.
