Monroe 9, San Fernando 7--Marvin Cortez’s 29-yard field goal with eight seconds to play lifted host Monroe (1-7, 1-2).
Cortez’s kick capped a 14-play drive that started on the San Fernando five after Bobby Stanley was stopped for no gain on fourth and one.
San Fernando (5-3, 2-1) took a 7-6 lead with 6:42 to play on Stanley’s 10-yard run. Stanley finished with 80 yards in 16 carries.
Beltran completed seven of 14 passes for 136 yards, including a 98-yard second-quarter touchdown pass to Arthur Sulcer, and had a team-high 56 yards in seven carries.
